Maloff Protect
Uses
For prevention of P. falciparum malaria in adults, alongside bite prevention. Because Maloff Protect is effective against drug sensitive and drug resistant P. falciparum, it is especially recommended where the pathogen might be resistant to other antimalarials. Official guidelines (e.g. WHO and public health authority guidelines) and local information on the prevalence of resistance to antimalarial drugs should be taken into consideration.
Format and Ingredients
Dosage
Adults: 1 tablet a day at the same time with food or a milky drink to ensure maximum absorption. Do not crush. Start taking 1-2 days before entering a malaria-endemic area and continue during the period of the stay and for 7 days after leaving the area. Use for a maximum of up to 12 weeks.
